I'd like to praise God for my wife's job.  She was given a $200 bonus by her employer.  They also gave her Christmas Eve off with pay!

That is great! 

When employers give bonuses it is like saying "Job Well Done" in a physical way. It's part of that extrinsic value that they can provide.
