Clearwater Street Ministry
This is a ministry in Clearwater, Florida, which provides a meal free to anyone in downtown Clearwater. This ministry has been in existence for over 15 years providing food, spiritual and physical for the needy every week. Many local churches and individuals support through providing weekly meals and monies to support the ministry.
The ministry also provides bus passes for those who have scheduled appointments for the coming week. Also provided are clothing free for those who attend the weekly meetings at 5:00 p.m. each Saturday at 1000 Myrtle Street on the Church of God by Faith property.
Also provided at these weekly meetings is a Praise and Worship Team, who sing Praise and Worship and Contemporary Christian music. After the meal and the Praise and Worship, a Sermon by John Ferguson, or Ro Lashua and then a closing message by Pete deliver a complete spiritual meal.
We share this with everyone as a source of encouragement that if the Lord is setting such a ministry on your heart, we encourage you to move forward in that ministry. It is so needed in today’s world. The Lord loves it when we serve those who the world is not eager to help. This is true religion, to serve others.
