So you have a good friend there Dale.  It makes sense what you're friend has said to you, and I pray you will really have those heart to heart 'chats' with our Father each day.

Father, please prompt us to remember to lift Dale to You this coming week, and Lord keep him enfolded in Your arms, and keep drawing him closer to Yourself.

Keep us posted of your progress Dale, and if there's specific things you want us to pray about, then please let us know.

Much love
Trust in the Lord no matter how bad your situation seems, and don't think or worry about what's going on.  Concentrate your thoughts on the Lord and just ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen you and help you to pray the right prayers.  Pray earnestly, forgiving every single person that sins against you

Been there - done that -- several times - probably many more - came out stronger -- you will too.

Hey Dale -- how are you doing?  I sensed your spirit was calmed down a great deal in your last post.  Just checking on you.......................

Thanks, Linda. I'm okay. I'm beginning a a short period (three day) of fasting/prayer tonight; I find it to be an enriching experience for my soul.

Thanks, Linda. I'm into day #3 of my fasting/prayer. I'm hangin' in there
I still need clarity or a breakthrough in this whole situation, so I'm still in the "desert." By the way, our relationship was dating---not living together---in case that thought (in these days) came to mind.

I think God is trying to tell me to trust
Him more, instead of trying to work and manipulate things myself. You tell me if my logic is correct:
If I'm right and this woman is meant for me (and vice versa), God will see to it that things will work out for both of us.
If she is not meant for me anymore, God will let me know that too---and in which case, I can accept that (with some pain) because only He sees the big picture. In other words, if it's His will, things will work out; if it's not, greener pastures are ahead.

Dale -- you know, I think you already had your breakthrough.  Read your last post and you'll see what I mean.  Sometimes we expect all these things to happen around us to signify the  breakthrough, but what really happens is something happens inside of us.  And that,..............is what brings about the breakthrough.  Did that make sense?  (sometimes I do, sometimes I don't!)

I think you are right in that sense, but "Oh ye of little faith" me still has to fight through all of this---mainly because the relationship is fluid and things are happening, if you get my drift. So, it isn't easy. It wouldn't be for anyone, obviously. This is a trial of some sort and without revealing too many personal specifics, almost a real soap opera. I will keep you abreast of things. Thanks. Dale

When we move into position, where we are suppose to be, next to our Father, things start to happen before our eyes.  So we need to stay in the right position and not move away from the Lord, and then we will see the miracles happening in the lives of those we hold dear.

Instead of praying for the person we care for to change, we can pray for our own heart to change, so those we hold dear will see the glory of God upon us, or in us :)

Dale, I believe God has raised up your friend to give you good counsel, and the fasting to seek His face reveals to me you really are earnest for His will to be done, and your prayer is, Your will and not my will be done in this Lord.

Stay on the narrow path, and as one pastor said, and I could hardly believe my ears when he said it:  "Embrace the suffering, don't fight against it."  I had never heard this before, and I received it into my heart, and embraced my suffering, and miracles happened in my life.

It's like Daniel's friends in the furnace; have you read this story Dale?  They simply stood in the fire, and the Lord stood with them, and the Lord is standing beside you in this Dale.  Why?  Because He is your Father, and you are His precious son.  Your name is engraved on His palms.  Did you know that?  Do you know where it says this in scripture?  Yes, it is written in scripture, your name is engraved on God's hands, and mine too, and Ann's, Linda's, Tim, Ro and everyone else who our Father has given to our Lord and Saviour.  Read John 17 aloud; it's an amazing chapter

Dale -- I'm not really getting your drift about the relationship being fluid and that's ok because you don't need to share more than you have, but I'm assuming there is something happening and that that is part of the shake up --- God purposely shakes things up to get them to fall in His order and not someone elses.  Just hold tight........and believe me I get the soap opera thing -- I've got one going on around me that you just couldn't even write this stuff!!!
