One of the best ways to generate traffic to your web site is to submit original articles to http://www.ezinearticles.com.

Be sure to read all their guidelines and tips before submitting.

You can submit up to 10 articles then they review them all and upgrade your status so you can submit more.

There are some things that you can do without a web site but eventually you're going to want at least one web site.  Some people end up with hundreds of sites at various locations around the world.

Since you're just starting out I wouldn't worry about a web site right now.  I'll show you some ways to make money without one and from your profits you can purchase what you need to expand your online business.  Part of that expansion will most likely be a web site.

I think there are web sites where you can get free pages.

Tim, wouldn't that work?  At least until she can make enough money to hire some one to do the web work etc.  Right?

You can get free web hosting but usually it comes at a price.  What I mean is they run ads on your site or their hosting service is limited or there is some other down side to it.

You can get hosting for sites as low as $1.25 a month if you look around long enough.

Anyone who's interested in making money whether online or offline has to either invest time or money.  If they can't invest either they shouldn't try.  They should expect to invest both.  Remember, it's like a farmer planting his crop.  What you sow is what you reap.  If you want to start business on the cheap you're going to get a cheap return.

Good advice.  The interesting thing I have noticed is that if I get a bill I did not expect or a fee or a fine, I will always find the money to pay for it.  However, when I am given an 'oportunity' to put some money out to invest in my business I ALWAYS wince and give excuses as to why I can't afford it.  Bottom line is when we are ready to start a viable business we will put forth the effort and the money that it takes.  We invest where our heart is.  When we have our heart in our business then we invest in it.  It is really that simple.
