The show Gospel Hip-Hop Nation by D.J. JEFF "the chief" EDWARDS presents various urban music to target audiences in the pre-teen to 35 (BET/MTV) range. It is also a live show with gospel Rap, Dance, Reggae, and an urban-gospel crew.

The Gospel Hip-Hop Nation has interviews that focus on issues to most common problems that the youth face. They also interview various celebrities & new artists. The Show interviews various youth groups in an ongoing effort to bring unity and commitment and passion for our Lord in the Body of Christ through the youth.

This ministry also focuses on recreational activities for all ages. They do such activities such as promoting concerts, skating parties @ United Skates of America, pool parties, basketball tournaments, youth rallies which is called House Party @ Kingdom Come (Tampa), & banquets featuring an guest artist/local talent.

They are connected with various youth organizations (Youth for Christ, Young Disciples for Christ, Without Walls, Mt. Zion Progressive MBC, Bethel Community, Bush Gardens, Somebody CaresTampa Bay, etc.) Also, they are working with various Music/CD stores throughout the Tampa Bay area (Tampa Christian Supply, Disc Music, Love Works, Ebony Guess) These are secular & Christian stores.

DJ JEFF, "THE CHIEF", EDWARDS has hosted 3 compelling multi-segmented fast paced shows Shabach ! Saturdays 8am - 10am, Praise Brunch Sundays 12:noon-3:00pm, & the hottest show in the nation Gospel Hip-Hop Nation Sundays 3:00pm-6pm. Also, have a large listeners base from Safety Harbor to Sarasota, proven by giveaways, appearances, showouts, in studio invites, special events, etc.

Urban-Gospel Hip-hop is right now such a major marketable commodity that even secular record labels have developed a Gospel division.

Gospel Hip-Hop Nation Host evangelist Jeff Edwards has earned respect in his career as a radio DJ, newspaper columnist, Gospel promoter, Choir director, and Hip-Hop evangelist. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, began his D.J. career at age 14. He played in various night clubs & discos until he gave his life to Jesus Christ.

He ministers at the Sarasota County Jail and Bradenton Drug Treatment Center.  He also touches lives with the Gospel at various youth organizations, Public Schools, Colleges, & etc. He is President & Founder of Winners in Christ Ministries, Co-founder of Pathways Bible Center.  He preaches & teaches in Jamaica, Miami, and other parts of Florida. He is well known in Central Florida ministering to multi-racial audiences.

His experience as a columnist, promoter, husband and the father of a young daughter, gives him the professional and personal edge to understand family issues and bring them home to an audience.
