Letter from the Editor: Dear Saints, This month’s theme is an exciting one to me, and I have story after story to tell how God has worked miracles in my life; and in the lives of those I come into daily contact. Ordinary stories that defy imagination by a Supreme Being who loves us and has a plan for each of His children who want to live for Him. Ever since time began there has been this glory war between the enemy of our souls and Jesus Christ. If we take God’s side we shall see signs and wonders. If we serve our own selfish needs then our reward will be what we see here naturally occurring in our lives. The devil has limited power to reward too, but there is usually strings attached which can prove to be undesirable for our everlasting retirement. Following God is an exciting adventure, and if you do not believe me then try to give Him glory for something where there is no earthly explanation. No credit to “LADY LUCK” or “angels” just Jesus Christ. If you are not vague, and give Jesus credit for what has happened to you then He will do more and you will fight for the Lord.. A comedian once had a famous line saying “the devil made me do it.” I say that Jesus gave it to me or Jesus did this or that and I get startled looks, smirks and outright laughter. Payday will come as surely as the sun rises in the morning. There will be no feeling like a man on death row who has to figure where he will spend eternity. We can rejoice over our spiritual 401 k plan! Until next month, Brother Kevin Editor www.believersbay.com |
