Go & Tell Go and tell means that we need to tell others about Jesus. We do need to share the joy of salvation that we received when we came to know Jesus as our Lord and Savior. We also need to add more important facts to this. Recently I had the opportunity to join in on a new members class at a local congregation. We each had a chance to tell how we came to know Jesus as our Savior, and what that meant to us. Out of the dozen or so participants, one was very interesting to me. One of the ladies in the meeting said something, I thought was profound. She said, "For years I had gone to church with my Grandmother, and later with my fiancé, and while I knew about Jesus, I never knew He was coming back." I was amazed that she could go to church for years and not hear that. However, many churches concentrate, at the weekly church service, on bringing people to the Lord, but never give "the rest of the story". It is important that the rest of the story be told. We need to tell people Jesus is coming back. There is hope in that statement. This world needs hope. Therefore, I propose that we continue to discuss Jesus with everyone, even believers. Perhaps we concentrate too many times on reaching out to the unsaved with Jesus that we resign our conversation within the church to talk of only the weather etc. Let's talk more about Jesus. Let's talk to each other about Jesus, all about him, his life and his deeds, and also his death for us on that cross. Let's talk about what hope this world has, his name is Jesus. Let's talk about his return, which is when peace will finally come to this world. He has won the victory and He is on his throne! Jesus IS the ANSWER! Jesus IS coming back, and it really looks like it will be in our lifetime! Let's GO and TELL! Father in Heaven, Thank you for sending Jesus to this earth to live a sinless life and die on the cross for all of our sins. Thank you for giving us your word to show us the way and giving us fellow believers to share hope and truth. We give you praise for all that you have done for us to show us the right path and how to live in the kind of victory that Jesus wants us to live. Thank you that we have your promise and we know healing is ours because your word says, by His stripes we ARE healed. Thank You Jesus for everything!!! In Jesus Name, Amen
