Victory - Releasing Faith

Is it possible we have spiritualized the word faith so much that we, perhaps think it is some obscure concept or religious jargon that is beyond our comprehension and certainly beyond our ability to experience. 

The truth of the matter is, faith is a fruit of the Holy Spirit.  We CAN have faith and we WILL have faith if we are a Christian led by the Holy Spirit. 

If it is that simple why do we not experience this releasing of faith in our lives? 

Could it be that we do not have faith to a significant degree because we do not exercise our faith?

When we exercise our bodies we build muscles.  When we exercise our faith we build our faith. 

So now you are saying.... how on earth do I exercise my faith?    That's easy.  Use it.  Just like we would use our muscles. 

How do we use our faith?  We do this by choosing to believe God.  Choosing to believe He is for us and that He is working out things in our lives. 

How do we learn to believe God? The simple answer to that is t. To read the word of God, to hear the word of God.  That is the bible.  There is power in the word.

This is the road to faith and to victory.  It works because it is based on truth, the word of God. 

We serve a mighty God who loves to bless us.  He wants more than anything to bless us with the spiritual gifts.  He wants to give us Faith to live in Victory! 

Father in Heaven,

Thank you Lord for the opportunity daily to exercise our faith. 

Show us Lord when, where, and how to do that. 

As we walk through this life, Lord lead us daily down the path

and walking in faith to experience the victory you have for us.  . 

Lord teach us to always value the sacrifice of Jesus Christ
and live each day in victory close to you
filled with your love, and grace and mercy.
