New Beginnings
At the beginning of each year many people make new years resolutions and vow to make significant changes in their lives. Some resolve to loose weight, much of which has been recently acquired due to all the parties and celebrations of the holiday season.
There is something refreshing about new beginnings. The idea that we can start over and begin anew is encouraging.
God has a plan for us to begin anew. He actually offers this to us daily.
This month as we examine the topic of new beginnings we can be encouraged by the fact that we have a new slate each day given to us by our awesome God.
Romans 8:1 states that there is NO condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior there is no condemnation. There is no guilt that weighs heavy on us. When we have surrendered our life to God, He gives us an awesome peace that ONLY HE can give.
We can live in victory as we draw closer and closer to Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
