Abundance?  When we are in the midst of difficult situations at work or at home, sometimes it is hard to feel we are living the life of abundance, no matter how blessed we are. 

When we have difficult situations. When we are being harassed at work.  When we are being set up to fail.  When we just want to scream, Lord HELP me!  We may not feel we are living the abundant life.  When we say abundance, we tend to think of stuff.  Is that accurate? 

We can have an abundance of God's love.

We can have an abundance of God's mercy.

We can have an abundance of God's grace.

We can have an abundance of God's joy.

We can have an abundance of God's peace.

We can have an abundance of God's patience.

We can have an abundance of God's gentleness.

We can have an abundance of God's faith. 

These are far more important than any THING we can hold on to.  These are far more important because these are treasures we will take into eternity.  Abundance for eternity is much longer than what we can have now. 

Let's live the abundant life, right from the Lord's hand.  We are ,you know.  Sometimes we are being given blessings of patience, oh, didn't I tell you, those come with trials attached.  When our boss does not see our effort and implies we are inept, let's remember we are being given an opportunity to grow in patience. 

The Lord showed me when I was in a very difficult situation, that I was right where HE wanted me. In spite of the fact that it was VERY VERY uncomfortable, I was right where He wanted me.

So, perhaps my point to all this is, that abundance is not always about the feeling of abundance but the blessing of abundance.
