Sharing the Love of God with Common Sense

Joanna

Grandaughter, you are as sweet as can be,

Created with love by two hearts for me,

I thank our Father who is up above,

For your little “snowball” smile of love.

Now you are young as you as can be,

Full of love for all the world to see,

I pray that the Holy Spirit who is light,

Will give you life like a dove’s gentle sight.

You are my sixth grandchild little sweetie,

To bless your parents, and Grandpa can see,

The purpose of God and His heart of care,

Bless her Father; give her your heart to share.

Joanna is my sixth grandchild. Each of my three sons has had two children with my youngest son expecting a third. It is almost as if they are competing with each other. I thank God for each of my grandchildren, which are spread out across the country now, because I know that the God of all flesh sees them and cares for each  of them.

Recently, before I returned from China for medical care, Sister Petey Prater, a columnist for Believersbay.com, issued a prophecy over me that said I would be pelted with snowballs by little angels, and that I would be laughing like crazy. On Father’s day I was surrounded by the three grandchildren that are in Phoenix. When they were all sitting there looking at me the Lord brought Sister Prater’s prophecy back into my mind

I wish to honor her courage in stepping out to speak these words to me and exercise the gift that is within her of the Holy Spirit. I am blessed to have had a sister in the Lord who operates in the gifts of the Spirit that still work in people today. The gifts died during the last of the apostles life here on earth…..I do not think so….Hogwash!
