Dear Believer's Bay readers, I asked myself these questions the other day as a self-check:
I love Jesus with all of my heart or do I? Is He the Master of my life or not? I know He will not let me have to endure anything that He cannot pull me out of, or do I? I mean, I say these things, but do I really believe them? Am I acting like a Christian; is he truly Lord of my life? Ah! Such questions as these can drive you mad or they can lead to a possible healthy Christian walk with daily humility doses to keep you on an even keel.
Stability and growth are both aroused in us, as we daily live to please Him as the great King who knocks on our door. Jesus is knocking… knocking… and knocking.
How will we answer the door? Will we vibrantly answer the knocking on our hearts with merriment and laughter, or will we respond with a face of dread and morbidity. Our King knocks on our door of Christian façade what will He see? Jesus is knocking… knocking… and knocking.
Are we excited to hear His voice, will it seem like a task to be performed, or duty to do that interferes with what we have planned? Writing for Believers Bay is a joy. It is not a duty to accomplish. Every month I write for Believer's Bay the words flow like a river. No there is no “writer’s block” at all.
Jesus is knocking… knocking… and knocking. Take the challenge…go ahead…it is a great thing. Why not listen to Jesus as He knocks at your very soul? It is amazing what we can do if we develop our spiritual side when he comes-a-calling! Jesus is knocking… knocking… and knocking.
