Who is Jesus?

Have you heard a lot about Jesus but you don't know what to do to meet Him? He died for you. That is a fact. He did it FOR you! He did it for all of us.

Jesus came to this earth to live as a human for one purpose, so we could have salvation. Without Him we are all doomed. We have all sinned and we have all earned the death penalty for our sins. Jesus, who was God in the flesh, lived a sinless life and was the only one who could pay the price for all of us.

He suffered so we would not have to. He did that FOR us. He said, come to me, All who are heavy laiden and I will give you REST! He takes our burdens and carries them for us. He promises that.

If you would like to know Jesus, the good news is He already knows you and loves you very much. He's been wanting to hear from you.

Who is Jesus? I must explain,

That there are many who say,

They have the answer, simple and plain.

We attempt to live each day.

With love for our fellow man,

Copy His deeds follow His ways,

He loves us better than anyone can.

Who is Jesus? A savior so kind

Fully God and fully man,

Down from heaven left behind,

All glory in heaven; timeless span.

Nailed to the cross for our sakes

Risen and coming, we don’t know when,

Taking His children, their souls at stake,

For they are BORN AGAIN!

Three Steps to Salvation

Step #1: We must believe we sin. That we need a savior to cover those sins.

We all sin and it earns us the death penalty. Without Jesus that is where we are all headed.

When we see this, that we have sinned, that we need Jesus to cover those sins with His blood, and we accept that....that is a life changing decision. This is also a pride breaker.

^{Romans 3:}²³For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

^{Romans 6:}²³For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

^{John 3:16}For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Step #2: We must ask Jesus to be our Savior and Lord by praying and asking Him to come into our lives. We have to ask. He is not going to push His way into our lives. He waits for us to ask Him in.

He draws us to Himself, He reveals truth to us, however, some people will turn and not accept Jesus as Savior.

We are hoping you are making the other decision, to accept Jesus and ask Him to be Lord of your life. Savior means He saves us from our sins. His blood covers our sins. His blood washes away our sins. He did that for you and me. That is totally awesome.

Lord means He wants to direct our lives. He wants to lead us and guide us. He wants us to live abundantly right from his hand. He wants that for us. He wants to bless us with His peace, with His love, with His understanding. It is so wonderful to let GOD be in control of our lives.

If you want this kind of relationship with Jesus then you need to pray what we call the "Sinners Prayer". Here is a Sample, you can pray it in your own words or use this prayer.

Dear Jesus, Please come into my life and make me a new creation. Take away my old habits and forgive me my sins.

Jesus I admit I am a sinner and I need your sacrifice to cover my sins. Wash away my sins with your blood and be LORD of my life. I give you my life now Lord, I surrender to you.

Teach me love you with all my heart, soul, and mind. Teach me trust you for all my needs here on earth, and give me the ability to follow your ways while I live my life now.

AMEN

Step #3 You are a Christian now if you were sincere in your heart. No one can take this away from you !

You will probably find that you want to tell everyone you know about your salvation through Jesus Christ. Do it, even look for ways to let others know what God has done for you through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Read Christ’s Word for it is His love letter to you. Find a Bible believing Church and settle in to help wherever you can. Above all….. Pray and Pray and Pray

REMEMBER THIS.... after you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior if you find that doubt is creeping in, causing you to doubt that you are REALLY a Christian... KNOW THIS... Satan is trying to deceive you and steal the truth away from you.

John 1:12-13 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: ¹³Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

As a BELIEVER you ARE a CHILD OF GOD! You are BORN AGAIN, that means you now have a spiritual birth and Jesus is Lord of your life. He is the one in charge of your life. It is an awesome way to live.

Find a bible believing church and get involved in outreach. What we have freely been given we are to freely give.
