About Catherine Craig

Catherine lives in South Central Alaska, semi-retired, with her husband Jeff. As a grandmother of 9 and mother of six, she leads a quiet but busy life. Originally from Upstate New York, Catherine first planted both feet on Alaskan soil in 1990 to pursue a vision. Though that dream failed, it wasn't the first time she stepped out in faith to follow a dream. In March 2005, a life-changing turn of events brought Catherine's busy life as an entrepreneur to a standstill. Unable to return to work due to unexpected health issues, Catherine capitalized on her unforeseen downtime to begin writing the inspirational historical fiction book she'd dreamed of. Much of Catherine's passion for life and her unstoppable faith is reflected in her writing. "The Golden Thread" is a rich revelation not only of Jewish history, but also of a broad spectrum of her personal convictions and intuitive beliefs about life, faith, and God.

Opening My Mouth and Letting The Truth Out…

I ask myself, “How can I NOT tell of the awesome things God has done for me?”…I get so excited telling others about His help, sometimes I can’t shut up. To me, the glow that comes into a listener’s eyes – the revealing spark of hope indicating their own hunger for a God who cares – is worth it all.
