I’d like to know what you’d like to see here at Believers Bay.  I’d like to know what you like and what you dislike about the new structure.  Please feel free to share.

Thanks

Tim

the site looks clean and uncluttered. However, the pix is not of a “bay”. Perhaps since boats and a port in the storm are such a Christian themes, a picture of a harbor ?

Glad you have decided to keep up with this ministry. God will make it His own. I use WordPress when submitting to several other sites, and it works great! Just let me know the categories, I’ll do the tags. Do you want the SEO stuff done as well?

Hmmm, a change of picture, eh? I’m open to looking some over if someone has gifted graphic skills. Perhaps even some monthly and/or seasonal and/or holiday graphics to switch in and out?

I’m still working on categories. Probably the same categories as on the old site. What categories would you like to see?

Not sure exactly what you have in mind for SEO and tags. But I’m open to learning. WordPress hasn’t exactly been a high priority program in my business dealings so much of this program is still new to me.

SEO is for public stuff and the magazine will be behind membership doors so it probably isn’t something to worry about but I’d still like to know what you had in mind for that.

    • I am emailing you some Microsoft public domain clip art of bays – you can access clipart from any Microsoft Word program.

if SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is not your concern, that’s fine. I put an excerpt in my blog just in case- along with tags. These can attract potential members to your site. For example, if someone googled Founding Fathers faith and found one of Jans, or healing-woman and found mine. It might attract readers and help the site to grow, if that is the direction God leads you. The internet is another tool to fulfill the Great Commission. A lot of souls are searching.

  3. Hi Tim
You know I LOVE WordPress . . . you have made a great decision to use it for the magazine/membership site here. I don’t know what plugins you are using, but if you’d like a list of my “absolute must-haves”, I’ll email those to you.

I have a few of readers who say they are not able to pull up my column nor can they access the archives . . . any suggestions?

    Thanks!

The magazine is free for anyone to read. However, in order to read it visitors must register a free account and verify it or they won’t be able to access the magazine. If they’re already registered members you might ask them if they were logged in.

Many users seem to be having problems understanding that they must now be logged in to read the magazine.
