Attack of the Bots!

Well, all the wordpress signup bots on the internet found the new wordpress site we have set up here quickly enough.  The site was flooded with signups!

There’s new captcha sign up in place and oddly enough the bots stopped signing up.  Yay!

I deleted a whole bunch of memberships.  If you aren’t a bot and your membership got deleted I apologize.  Just sign up again and this time you won’t get deleted.

Also, the autoresponder integration is now active and working.  So, you’ll get multiple messages when you join the free membership here.  You’ll get a message from Believers Bay asking you to verify your email address and you’ll ALSO get a message from my aweber account asking you to verify you want to receive emails.

Membership in Believers Bay is free but it’s mandatory that everyone joins and remains on the mailing list.  This is so I can communicate with everyone by writing one email that goes out to everyone.  It also allows me to create emails that I can schedule to go out way in advance.

Anyone who doesn’t join the mailing list will be deleted from the membership.  Anyone who joins the mailing list and then cancels the mailing list will be deleted from the membership.

Thanks in advance for understanding.  These changes are being made to help automate a lot of the technical stuff that’s been draining me.

I have enjoyed insights from your bible studies – are these still available?

      Hi Robert,

Which bible studies were you referring to? Do you mean the monthly articles? Are you referring to the Galations and Ephesians bible studies?

      Tim
