What Happened!!!???

Just a little note to those of you who tend to worry.  Believers Bay is NOT a defunct site.

I suppose you’ve all been wondering what happened in July when I didn’t publish the magazine.  I periodically take inventory of my life and of the projects that occupy it.  Believers Bay was taking an inordinate amount of time, energy, and effort.  I seriously considered closing it down.

I had just about reached the point to go ahead and shut it down due to things going on behind the scenes when I felt impressed to run a survey.  I thought the survey would give me the encouragement I needed to continue.  It didn’t.  Quite the opposite in fact.  It discouraged me so much I just stopped dead in my tracks.

My wife, Christine, encouraged me to pray about it and wait a while.  After what I considered to be forever, I felt the Lord’s leading to completely redesign the site and change it to a new format.  Hopefully everyone will come to appreciate the new design and the new direction of the Magazine.

I encourage you to share your comments.  They’re easy to share.  Oh, and don’t expect everything to be up in one day.  I’m still waiting for the membership management software and other tools to make this work better for us all.

    Tim,
It sounds like the Lord’s stirring your nest. Congratuations. I think you just made a giant leap forward, and I look forward to an even better publication that will attract more readers. I love the new look. It says “promise,” “newness,” “refreshing.” It’s just what this hopeless world needs.

Let me know how I can help.

Yes, I’ve been stirred quite a bit. I have to agree, I think this is a leap forward. I’ll be able to respond more quickly to the board, readers will have an immediate feedback to the authors, approved authors will have the ability to enter their work in the system and when the time comes I’ll just go in and approve the pieces.

I’m looking forward to what we’ll be able to do now.

It was the turbulence of the flood that brought Noah to the place of God’s blessing.

Horray! I’m glad you decided to keep working on the magazine!
Once I know upcoming themes, I’ll write an article!

      Here’s the themes list:

I’m looking forward to your submission.
